Try out Animal Care, Horticulture, Agriculture, Countryside and Equine in this exciting 1 year programme. Your needs are fully assessed before you start and we will keep in contact with your parent or carer all of the time so that everyone is involved in making your life at college enjoyable and successful. As well as enjoying practical activities you will continue to study Maths and English. This course has a strong emphasis on your personal and social development and you will spend time developing your employability skills. You will also complete work experience. The Entry Level Programme is made up of three separate 1 year courses, this means you will have to reapply each year. For some students the pathway through entry level may take up to 3 years.

What you need to get on

You do not need exam passes to start but you do need to be at entry level in literacy and numeracy. You will have at least one interview and an assessment of your literacy and numeracy and support needs before you are offered a place.

How you are assessed

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
