What the college says
The course, which includes poetry, prose, drama and creative writing, is designed to build upon skills already acquired and gives the opportunity to develop individual critical awareness. Assessment is by essays, coursework and examination of the set texts. There are plenty of opportunities to attend courses and lectures throughout the year. In addition, there is a visit to the battlefields of France and Belgium as preparation for a study of 'Literature of the Great War' and the second year topic is 'Love Through The Ages'.
