Students develop a knowledge and understanding of English Language. Every aspect of our lives depends upon language. Reading, writing, speaking and even thinking would not exist without it. Using language in different ways can influence how people see us and how we see others. English Language at AS and A level is aimed at those students who are curious to learn more about language. You will consider how language works and how people use it by studying varied and diverse examples of spoken and written language. You will also produce pieces of your own original writing.
