You will also have an enthusiasm for exploring language, for writing discursively and for increasing your knowledge of linguistics. If you are interested in language and how it is used by different groups (for example: social, occupational, and gender) and how this can affect language choices, then this is the course for you. Additionally, the course delves into the study of how children acquire language and the different theories associated with learning to speak, read and write.
