This is a practical subject that equips you with the skills to design, build, test, and modify electronic circuits. You will have the opportunity to take your ideas from concept to reality, creating solutions for real-world problems. An exciting feature is the coursework, which consists of individually chosen projects.

What you need to get on

A minimum of 5 passes (grade 4 or above) at GCSE, including in both English and Maths (not including Level 2 vocational qualifications). Plus two grade 5s in GCSE Science

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
