In combination with maths this is the double maths course for those who wish to study more mathematics to a higher level. It is particularly useful to those who want to go on to study a degree in a mathematically related discipline. The Further Maths course is more difficult than the Maths one and is therefore suited to those students who are very able mathematicians. br / br / The course extends the algebra and trigonometry you will learn in A Level Mathematics and also covers areas such as matrices and complex numbers. What you need to get on

You need a minimum of five GCSEs at 9 4 including grade 7 in Maths and 4 in English Language. This course must be taken alongside Maths A Level. br / br / You will need a strong interest and aptitude for mathematics. You will need to spend a lot of time outside of class working on the concepts taught in class so you need good independent study skills.
