The Drama and Theatre course enables students to explore exciting and inspiring play texts covering a range of social, historical and cultural contexts. Students will have three performances opportunities. These will be based on their in-depth studies of a range of practitioners and theatre companies; they will then apply their knowledge to reinterpret existing texts for performance.

What you need to get on

In addition to meeting 6th form entry requirements students should achieve a minimum of Grade 5 at GCSE Drama. Those wishing to apply with no recognised Drama qualification should look to achieve a grade 5 in English GCSE as well as demonstrating a commitment to the subject outside of the school environment.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
