Students taking Drama and Theatre will be studying the two year linear course following the new Edexcel syllabus. Students will also complete a written exam, which focuses on the work of theatre practitioners and coursework in the form of a portfolio. A Levels in Drama and Theatre will be assessed through a combination of a 40% written exam and 60% non-examined assessment. A minimum of two complete and substantial performance texts and a minimum of three key extracts from three different texts placed in the context of the whole text.

Five grade 5's at GCSE, including English (Langage or Literature). Please note, theatre visits will need to take place, these will be arranged by school as well as individually at a cost to the student.
