Subject Overview Unique in the Sixth Form Curriculum, Drama challenges students to develop their creativity, interpersonal skills, leadership and analytical ability while becoming independent theatre practitioners and honing their academic skills. While the course has significant written assessment, it focuses on practice and is, therefore, taught in a predominantly practical way. Students hone the ability to learn academically from their practical experience through analysis, evaluation and creative application. It is essential for students of A Level Drama and Theatre to go to the theatre.

Students must achieve at least a grade 5 in GCSE Drama or a 6 in GCSE English Literature.
