This course is designed for those who are looking to develop the digital skills they need for life, work or study as set out in the national standards for essential digital skills. Learners will learn how to operate safely and responsibly online or when using digital devices, and how to solve basic technical problems for themselves. The focus is primarily on digital skills for work with a secondary focus on digital skills for life. This qualification covers 5 skill areas, which learners need to fully complete before they take an online assessment. 1. Using devices and handling information 2. Creating and editing 3. Communicating 4. Transacting 5. Being safe and responsible online

You need to be aged 19+. This course has no cost to those in receipt of unemployment benefits or on a low wage income.
How you are assessed
Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
