Do you enjoy working with different types of wood, creating designs and producing wooden products? Are you looking to get a job where you work with your hands? This course could be for you. The Level Two Wood Machining Diploma is designed for those who would like to pursue a career in either Furniture Making or Bench Joinery, with an emphasis on the use of wood machines to produce your designed products. You will be inducted on and expected to set up a wide range of machinery as well as power tools in our specialised workshop setting. During this course, you’ll study: Health and Safety Timber Technology Sustainability Furniture Making by Hand Fitments and Fittings Career Planning
