As a level 3 sports massage therapist you will be able to plan and perform basic sports massage treatments. At level three you are restricted to working on dysfunction tissue. However, this qualification allows you to continue to level 4, where you will learn more advanced techniques. If you would like to help your clients with pre, post and inter-event muscle maintenance and restoration, a Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy will give you the basic massage techniques to do this.
