You'll have a keen interest in Sports and a passion to develop these skills further but have not studied Sport at GCSE level, this programme provides an excellent starting point. A keen interest in sport, fitness, and physical activity is essential for this programme. You should be comfortable with physical challenges and enjoy working as part of a team.
What you need to get on
Ideally you will have 5 GCSEs grade 3 or above including English and mathematics. If you have not yet obtained a Grade 4 in English and/or Maths then you will continue to study these alongside your Sports Programme.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
