Thinking about starting a career within the world of sport and fitness? The number of people employed or self-employed in this area has grown by over 30% in the last seven years. If you want to take the first step towards becoming a fitness instructor, get into coaching, or start training in sports therapy, our Sport, Exercise and Fitness college course is the ideal starting point towards your future. On our Level 2 sports course, you will gain an introduction to a variety of relevant topics, such as how the human body functions, strength and conditioning, healthy exercise and nutrition. You will also learn a broad range of skills and knowledge needed for employment in the sports sector and beyond, while you will have further opportunities to gain add-on qualifications from organisations such as the Football Association (FA) and England Football. Your learning will take place through a mixture of classroom theory lessons and practical sessions in our sports facilities, as well as a variety of enrichment activities and visits to enhance your industry knowledge. By completing the course, you will earn a widely-recognised Level 2 qualification, setting you up to progress onto our range of Level 3 sports courses and future careers within the sports industry.

Two-year technical qualification with a 45-day industry placement. Equivalent to three A levels.
