The Level 1 Digital Technologies Diploma (Diploma in Progression Level 1) will help you to gain knowledge and skills required when seeking employment in the computing industry. You will develop skills across programming, cyber security and networking as well as gain an understanding of the different pathways within the industry. This course has been designed specifically to develop foundation level skills in all aspects of computing. As we move into a digital world these skills are vital and will support you with progression opportunities. You will also gain wider skills such as completing Inspiring Digital Enterprise Award (IDEAS) badges, which test your computing skills and well as completing a unit covering Robotics.

What you need to get on

The entry requirements for the Level 1 Digital Technologies Diploma are two GCSEs at grades 2 or above (Old GCSE grade E or above) or equivalent (to include English or maths), or any one of the following, an Entry 3 qualification, a Certificate in Skills for Working Life or Life Skills, an ESOL Entry Level 3 qualification.

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
