The Level 3 Personal Training Diploma is the industry benchmark of personal training and is aimed at people wanting to personal train individuals, groups and maybe run their own successful business. You will develop practical experience of communicating, assessing and motivating clients with advance methods utilising underpinning knowledge of anatomy, physiology and nutrition. The qualification is designed for those who wish to gain a qualification in personal training for the fitness industry. The qualification equips learners with the specialist knowledge, understanding and skills to become a successful personal trainer. This qualification can be used by many organisations within the health and fitness industry and can increase your earning potential through initiatives, sessions, one to ones and classes.

What you need to get on

Applicants should hold a Level 2 Gym Instructor Certificate (or equivalent) . Alternatively, you can study the Personal Training YMCA Diploma Level 3, which will provide you with both Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications. You must also be aged 19 years of age or over. It is beneficial for you to have prior knowledge of sport and exercise will support your application due to the levels of anatomy and physiology required within the qualification.
