The qualification is through the leading Arts Provider, The University of The Arts, London (UAL) offering a tailor- made qualification for students wishing to immerse themselves in a professional and highly practical approach to studying Theatre & Events but still achieving a 3 A? Level equivalent qualification. The Level 3 course will provide you with more advanced skills for Technical Theatre and you will be working on more complex and challenging performances. This course is suitbale for anyone who is wanting to progress onto university, apprenticeships within the industry or employment. By completing this course, you will achieve a University of Arts London (UAL) Level 3 Diploma in Performing & Production Arts (Theatre & Event Technology). This is 2 year course and is equivalent to 3 A-Levels and is worth up to 168 UCAS points (Triple Distinction*) or 144 UCAS points (Triple Distinction). UCAS have recently changed the UCAS Tariff from September 2017 so they could include more qualifications. The new Tariff points are lower than the original Tariff points but the value remains the same, as universities will just use lower Tariff numbers in their entry requirements than in previous years.
