This level 3 training programme develops the base skills required to work safely as a support worker in a health and social care environment under the supervision of the registered healthcare practitioner. You will learn the skills, knowledge and behaviours required to provide person-centred care, as well as specific skills relating to your department and job role. For example, we have specific programmes designed for support staff in specialist areas, such as adult nursing, theatre, maternity, mental health, children and young people, allied health and therapy.
