What you need to get on
The entry requirements are four GCSEs (must include English) at grade A*-D/9-3, Level 1 qualification in a relevant vocational area (desirable but not essential) you will meet with staff to discuss whether this course is suitable for you and we will ask you to complete a free writing task to demonstrate an appropriate level of English ability. You may also be asked to perform a trade test.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
