If you want a career in hairdressing this course builds both practical ability and professional salon habits. You will train in purpose-built commercial salons and develop skills across cutting colouring styling and client care with guidance from industry-trained tutors. As you progress you will work with clients and complete one day per week external work experience to build your confidence and CV.
What you need to get on
• Have a keen interest in hairdressing and the industry • Show commitment to practical learning and professional standards • Three or more GCSE at Grade 3 or above or a successful completion of a relevant level 1 qualification, this must include GCSE English or Maths Grade 3 equivalent

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
