What you need to get on
To take on this course you will need: A 3 (equivalent to a D grade) or above in English Language/Literature 176 GCSE entry points or have a Level 1 Diploma with a Merit grade To demonstrate good attendance and timekeeping the ability to meet deadlines and have excellent skills developmentTo have a creative flair a genuine interest in the Hair and Media Make-Up industry good personal presentation and communication skills
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
