What the college says
If your dream is to become a beauty therapist, then the Level 1 Diploma in Beauty is the place to start. You will learn and practise the skills needed to be successful in your career, whether this is running your own salon, travelling the world working on a cruise liner or self employment. The opportunities are as broad as your imagination. This is a full time course which includes work placement along with maths and English and is taught over three days per week. You will partake in both practical and theory lessons.
What you need to get on
Minimum 3 GCSE's at grades 2 - 1 (E - F) or equivalent, or entry level qualification. Alternative qualifications and experience will be considered.
How you are assessed
Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
What this level means
A first step that builds towards Level 2.
