The Level 2 Diploma in Engineering Operators (Knowledge) is the next step in Motorsport following from the level 1 Motorsport (Automotive Engineering) Diploma. It blends an introduction to Light Vehicle technology whilst exploring the opportunities involved around Motorsport and Karting. To enrol directly onto this course you must show a desire for motorsport alongside knowledge of the industry, alternatively you may look start your journey on our Motorsport Diploma Level 1 to develop your knowledge and skills that are required to study this Level 2 course.
What you need to get on
Entry requirements are four GCSEs at grade 3 or above (Old GCSE grade E or above) or equivalent (to include English or maths) . Other vocational qualifications may also support entry requirements.
How you are assessed
Two-year technical qualification with a 45-day industry placement. Equivalent to three A levels.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
