Criminology is the study of crime in society. What is crime? Why do people commit crime? What is the best way to reduce crime? Criminology introduces you to a range of different approaches to crime and punishment, including an understanding of criminal law, the criminal justice system, criminal investigations, the psychology and sociology of crime, plus case studies of real crimes and criminals.
