Equivalent to one A level, this qualification looks at the types of crime that take place within our society. Students will be given the opportunity to develop their understanding of what behaviours are considered criminal. They will learn how we can use different theories of criminality to explain behaviours. Real life cases are used to gain an understanding of the criminal justice system from crime scene to courtroom. The course is assessed through a range of controlled assessments and external examinations over the two years.
