Have you ever wanted to write, create and publish your own short film, game, animation or podcast? Maybe you want to work in media production for film or TV. This course is the perfect way to learn how. This course will teach you how to work with video cameras, professional audio recorders and microphones while editing video, audio or images on our high-end 4k computers. This two year Extended Diploma course is largely practical and gives you not only a broad range of skills and experiences but also provides a professional environment where your portfolio of work and skills can be expanded to industry standards. There are opportunities to gather skills in Film, Television & Production; Graphic Design; Games Design, Video & Audio Production and Media Marketing. The structure of the course is that you have the opportunity to experience all areas of media initially with briefs given to you that cover some specific tasks such as writing, and presenting in readiness to be published in our magazine, a film review in Year One and a media-related extended article in Year Two. Through the remainder of the first year, you are then able to devise your own production briefs across two productions to explore and experiment with different aspects of media, mentioned above, to find the area of interest you want to follow.
