What the college says

This is a practical carpentry course where we embed as much of the knowledge as possible into the hands-on tasks. This minimises the amount of time spent in the classroom. We use a range of delivery methods, mainly practical, with a large proportion of E-Learning through IPads and other technologies. There are excellent progression routes to apprenticeships with a large number of our full-time students moving onto apprenticeships during their course based on our recommendations. Skilled trades people are currently in high demand across the country. There are approximately 3 million people working in construction making it one of the biggest industries in the country and covers 10% of the total job market. The qualification we offer is globally recognised and sought after in the industry.
