This course has been introduced this academic year (2025/26) to serve as a direct stepping stone for those wishing to pursue further studies in beauty therapy if they have not met the entry requirements for Level 2 Beauty Therapy.This Level 1 provision in Beauty Therapy is designed to provide extra support for students with special educational needs and/or social emotional and mental health difficulties by offering a tailored inclusive approach to learning. This qualification provides a foundation for these students to develop practical skills in beauty therapy while receiving the care time and guidance needed to progress at their own pace. By offering clear pathways into the beauty sector the program helps build confidence and competence laying the groundwork for students to continue advancing to higher levels of learning when they are ready.
