The VNA aims to prepare and support students for a career as a veterinary nursing assistant. All units taught will be in the context of small animals. The key purpose is to give students the ability to gain knowledge and skills necessary to work safely and competently, to allow students to grow as individuals and give them the chance to learn life skills essential for working in a veterinary practice environment, and other similar environments and to provide a progression onto other courses or employment.
