Do you want to work with children? Are you interested in making the difference to the next generation? Can you inspire children to learn in a fun and inspiring way? Then this course is the right one for you. This is an exciting new course for anyone who wants to gain experience of working with children from the ages of 0 - 5 years. You will gain both the knowledge and practical skills of an early year�s practitioner. You will have the opportunity to attend placement weekly working with different age children. We need you to have good communication skills, a caring and positive attitude, to be well organised and be motivated to learn.

What you need to get on

You are required to have a grade 4 in English Language and 3 GCSE�s at a grade 3 including maths.

How you are assessed

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

What this level means

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
