What the college says
Learners who are ready to take their first steps into hairdressing via the level 2 apprenticeship. Workplace learner - attend the centre once a month for your theory learning. All practical training is delivered within the workplace Day release learner - attend the centre for practical and theory training once a week with additional training provided in the salon in a paid working environment.
What you need to get on
To enrol on a Level 2 course, you will need at least a level 1 qualification in maths and English, although this may depend on the employer. To enrol on a level 3 qualification/apprenticeship, you will need to have completed a level 2 Hair Professional qualification or have equivalent industry experience
