Whether you are looking to develop skills for personal use, to communicate with friends and family or to enhance your employability, this course will provide a supportive and friendly environment to help you build confidence in using digital technology.�By the end of the course, you will be able to: -�Turn a computer on and off and log in, use a mouse and keyboard and navigate the desktop environment. -�Connect to Wi-Fi network and browse the internet using different search engines -�Use different settings on your device to make it easier to use -�Understand the importance of online safety and privacy, create strong passwords, and protect your personal information. A laptop will be provided for you to use during the lessons, no need to bring your own device. Before the start of the course, you�ll be invited to attend an induction and Skills Assessment�session to ensure the course is the right level for you.�Please note that the initial assessment�may take place on a different day from the main course. **Entry requirements: This course is aimed at learners with no or little experience of using digital devices or the internet.
