This is a two year course leading to a qualification with the equivalence to one A level. The course consists of 50% examination units and 50% coursework. Examination units are: Media products and audiences (2 hours) - the aim of the unit is for you to develop your understanding of how different media institutions operate in order to create products that will appeal to specific target audiences. Pre-productions and planning (2 hours) - by completing this unit, you will understand the preproduction process that the creative media industry follows when creating a product. Coursework units are: - Create a media product - The creation of and use of sound in media - Plan and deliver a pitch for a media product - Create a personal media profile
