What the college says
Essential digital skills are the basic skills you need to use technology effectively in everyday life and work. The purpose of the course is to help you understand, and improve, how you use essential digital skills for life and/or work. We recommend you apply for our Digital Functional Skills courses if you do not already have these qualifications as they are a useful certificate to have for work and volunteering, as well as enhancing your digital skills.
What you need to get on
You must be working at Entry-Level 3 or above in digital skills and Level 1 or above in literacy. We will assess you to see if you are working at the right level. If you are not quite at the right level for this course, we have courses at different levels that we can refer you to attend instead. How you are assessed
Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
