With its focus on design thinking, Product Design supports students to be innovative, reflective and critical in designing new models, products, systems and tools to benefit people while taking account of their impact on cultural, ethical, environmental and economic conditions which can shape the future.

What you need to get on

In addition to general entry criteria requirements, the criteria for this subject are as follows: Grade 6 GCSE in Technology subjects Resistant Materials, Textiles, Product Design or Graphics. Exceptional circumstances may be made by the Curriculum Leader. If a subject is oversubscribed preference will be given to those who have Grade 7.
