What the college says
Students will gain an understanding of the 'real world' of design and production, develop practical skills and respond to both given design briefs and self - generated projects of a practical nature. They will have the opportunity to explore a number of design briefs and work in a range of materials. Students will produce a 'product study' e-portfolio where they will anaylse existing products and develop one to enhance its qualities. They will involve themselves in producing innovative solutions to a given design brief and produce an extensive design and make a project that will take most of Year 13.
