This course on Dante aims to introduce students to his world of thought in order to enhance and deepen their enjoyment of his poetry.
What you need to get on
No prior knowledge of Dante is needed, but it would of course be helpful if students had some basic knowledge of the Divine Comedy and had tried reading even small parts! In general, an open mind and a willingness to listen and respond to ideas with which you may not always agree are more important than specific levels of skill.Please check the City Lit website for details.
