The Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performing and Production Arts (Dance and Musical Theatre) course offers wide ranging training and opportunities in singing, acting, and dance styles including classical ballet, contemporary, jazz, and commercial. From perfecting your skills in technical training to boosting your creativity in choreography, our Dance and Musical Theatre course is designed to nurture your existing skills and lead you to experience performance in a way you have never imagined before. Such training is then further supported by classes in dance history and Business to widen your knowledge of all the job possibilities in Musical Theatre and the Arts industry. Our studios are always bustling with students in classes, rehearsals and performances. The department has strong links with the local and wider community where students regularly perform, gaining skills that will enhance their learning and instil the qualities required to succeed. Performances, professional visits, theatre trips and workshops are fully integrated into the course. This specialist programme is aimed at students who already have a passion for and experience of Dance and Musical Theatre.
