Product Design 3D is a thriving and popular subject at all levels of study and the work within the college compliments that carried out in the school. The work is demanding both academically and practically but the balance can develop a range of skills.

What you need to get on

You will need to have a minimum of 5 A* - C grades at GCSE to study this course and students should also have successfully studied a Design and Technology subject at GCSE level to at least B grade or GCSE. You will need to be self-motivated and interested in the design and manufacture of products. You will also need to be able to design and make various projects using the influence of designers and design styles.

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
