This course offers an option to study criminology, psychology and law in an exciting and dynamic combination; this is the perfect starter course for anyone who wishes to pursue a career in the legal system, psychology or criminal justice. There is a maths and English GCSE option for those who require a retake of these GCSE’s built into the programme. Successful achievement of grades 4 in Maths and English and the main study programme will lead to a natural progression onto our level 3 provision and then potentially university. You will gain an insight into why people commit crime and how laws are made and enforced as well as the psychological perspectives of crime and crime control in this unique and exciting level 2 course. This course is entirely portfolio based and assessed in a step by step approach meaning you can gradually build up evidence of your knowledge and achievement throughout the year.

4 x GCSEs at grade 3(D) or above, including Maths and English

How you are assessed

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

What this level means

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
