Our Creative Industries Level 1 (UAL Level 1 Diploma in Art Design & Media) course will help you to discover your potential and open your eyes to the possibilities within the creative field. The introductory course will enable you to explore elements of Art & Design Media and Games Development before you make a choice as to what you wish to specialise in for Level 2 and beyond. For those of you with a real interest in Music we will also organise specific sessions where you can explore and develop your music skills to support you to prepare for progression onto Music level 2.

What you need to get on

English & Maths GCSE at grade 2 or Level 1 Functional Skills in both subjects. You must also have a clear interest in one or more of the creative fields on the course.

How you are assessed

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.

A first step that builds towards Level 2.
