This course is for learners who want to learn the basic techniques of fusing and slumping glass. This course is intended for beginners to Creative Glass. It is not suitable for learners who are advanced in the subject, or who have previously been, or currently enrolled on our Creative Glass - Develop and Explore courses (unless advised by the tutor). Once you have completed a maximum of 3 Beginners courses you can progress onto our Creative Glass - Develop & Explore courses.

What you need to get on

There will be no exams or qualifications, as the course will focus on creative activities. The Tutor will use a combination of group demonstrations and one-to-one support. To ensure fair access to our high-demand tailored learning courses and to better support your learning journey, we are moving to a termly enrolment cycle. This means you will now enrol for one term at a time. Your tutor will work with you during the term to identify the best progression route for your goals.
