This Level 1 OCN qualification runs over one term and is designed for learners with some basic photography knowledge who want to develop their skills. You will learn camera controls, exposure, composition and image quality, alongside editing using Adobe Photoshop. The course explores creative approaches such as street, portrait, fashion and product photography, while developing visual storytelling, image selection and presentation. Teaching is practical and supportive, preparing you for further study or creative industries at WM College in Camden. You should have English and Maths at Entry Level 3 or above and access to a camera with manual controls. You will need to follow instructions, complete research, contribute to discussions and work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines
