This qualification is suitable for adult learners who wish to develop skills and knowledge in craft. This course is open to all learners aged 19+. There are no specific recommended prior learning requirements for this qualification. However, learners may find it helpful if they�ve already achieved a Level 1 qualification.The qualification will cover three units:- Use materials, tools and equipment to develop craft techniques- Develop craft ideas - Create, present and evaluate final craft item Learners will study a variety of crafts. The final project will be the learner's individual choice of medium. Learners will be asked to carry out a visit to a gallery, shop or craft workshop in their own time to supplement their research.Please note: If you are unemployed/in receipt of eligible benefits or in receipt of a low wage (less than �26,800 annual gross salary) you should be eligible to take this course for free. Two-year technical qualification with a 45-day industry placement. Equivalent to three A levels.
