You will explore and learn about colour theory and art terminology in order to gain a better understanding about colour and colour mixing, using water based media Your tutor will demonstrate all tasks and support your individual needs both as a group and 1-1. In the first half of the course, you will be supported in experimenting with colour and colour mixing, discovering how different shades and tones of a colour are created. From this you will have the opportunity in the second part of the course to put this knowledge and learning into practise in the form of a painting of your choice, using all the new colour combinations that you have learnt to mix! This is a fun and relaxing course whereby the visual outcomes will speak positive volumes in regard to your learning about colour and colour mixing!
