The Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Computing is a 2-year qualification, equivalent to three A Levels. It is designed to be offered to 16–19 learners who are interested in progressing to further technical training, direct employment in the IT industry, higher education in computing-related disciplines or a higher level apprenticeship.The qualification provides learners with a broad base of knowledge of the computing sector.
