Computer Science at A level is highly regarded by universities and employers. It is an academic qualification which develops, analytical, planning, design development, programming and evaluative skills. In addition to this pupils will leave with a wealth of knowledge about computer hardware and how they work. A Level Computer Science is a rigorous course and produces pupils with a thorough in-depth knowledge. It prepares pupils for employment in the IT industry, apprenticeships or university. The course particularly lends itself to careers in the programming area of industry.
