Demanding both logical discipline and creativity in the design of algorithms and the writing, testing and debugging of programmes. Relying on an understanding of the fundamental rules of language, this course encourages an awareness of the management and organisation of computer systems. Of all our IT courses, the programming based Computer Science A Level is the most technically challenging so is best suited to learners who have already studied IT at GCSE. This course compliments Science or Maths A Levels and is a sought after qualification by many Russel Group universities.
