Computer Science involves questions that have the potential to change how we view the world. For example; we may be computing with DNA at some stage in the future, with computer circuits made of genes. We are already seeing exciting developments In drone deliveries, automated vehicles and space exploration. We live in a digitised and programmable world. To understand it, we need computing. Students with these skills will have a clear and marketable edge in tomorrow's world. It is valuable for those thinking of degrees and careers in a wide range of areas including Software Engineering.
