Our Computer Science specification is relevant to the modern and changing world of computing. This specification puts computational thinking at its core, helping students to develop the skills to solve problems, design systems and understand human and machine intelligence; allows students to apply the academic principles learned in the classroom to real world systems in an exciting and engaging manner; gives students aclearprogression into highereducation, as the course was designed after consultation with members of BCS (The Chartered Institute for IT), CAS and top universities.

What you need to get on

Standard entry requirements: Maths and English Language at a grade 4. Based on Attainment 8 scores we will offer the following pathways: Vocational Pathway (selecting only Vocational Courses): 40, Combination Pathway (selecting a mixture of A Level and Vocational): 45, A Level Pathway (selecting only A Levels): 50. Subject specific requirements: A grade 6 in Maths or Computer Science at GCSE.
